GOUT - DIET


1] Take more of Fluids and drink more water.
2] Avoid being Over-weight. Do Exercise regularly.
3]  Eat fresh fruits and fresh fruit juices.
4] Cherries are best for Gout patients.
5] Eat lots of green leafy vegetables except Asparagus, Cauliflower, Peas, Spinach, Mushrooms.
6] Nuts are good to consume.
7] Take food rich in Omega 3 – fatty acids.
8] Avoid  excessive ALCOHOL.
9] Dairy products also be taken.
10] Avoid Aspirin based drugs- consult your doctor for this.
11] Avoid  Fasting.
12] Avoid diet rich in high purines like offal, game, sardines, shellfish, Pulses etc.
